  ANARKALI AND KURTA DAY

The Cultural Committee of Prakash College organized Anarkali and Kurta Day on 23rd November 2019 for all our college girls & boys. Anarkali is a traditional wear that has its origin since, the Mugal era, and Kurta has always been a popular wear among men and still holds its place as the choice wear for every special occasion in India. One can say Kurtas are the Indian equivalent of the western ‘Suit & Tie’.

It is to mark this significance of these traditional Indian wears Anarkali and Kurta Day was celebrated. All students & staff members of the college had followed the dress code of Anarkali and Kurta. The students had a great time being dressed in royal look of Anarkalis & Kurtas & our campus was filled with flashes of selfies & photographs.

I am thankful for the opportunity to express to you my gratitude for the privilege of learning from your college. For each of the student, a college represents a beginning, a beginning towards a better future. We want to reassure you that your gift of knowledge were incredibly profound, and they will never be forgotten. The members of your staff who spent countless hours with us, taught us so much. Our experiences with them served as the very first steps in the long path toward realizing our own dreams. Though we will never be able to say “thank you” in person but this is just a small way of appreciation for all your efforts.
